On 14 November 2019, students of KHS of junior classes, who stay near the school, walked to school rather than using transport vehicles like vans, cars, scooters etc. This not only helps reduce environmental pollution by helping in cutting down use of fuels & their emissions, but also helps in bring about a spirit of healthy living in the young minds.
This activity was executed by the 'Walk it out, Talk it out' Organization. The goal of this group is to encourage more and more people to walk. Walking with a friend or group can make it more interesting and enjoyable.
We saw an overwhelming response of the school students who came ready with posters and placards. Their enthusiasm was truly beyond words. We helped guide them to school safely and we too learned a lot from them.
